A wondrful tnor.

Aleksandrs Antonenko, my new musical crush.

Pardon my shallow but who's the Iago? That's one fine specimen.

Piet: bear chaser much? It's Carlos Alvarez!

Saw Antonenko doing Otello with Muti here - and interesting performance that will mature with age.

Maury -- Yeah, I'm shallow that way. His voice is nice, too.

Given what's out there, I care less about maturity of interpretation than ability to sing the shit securely out of the role.

I agree, just having a tenor able to sing what is written with any semblance of ease or not dropping dead any moment is already something to be thankful for. And he doesn't fail the 'Dio mi potevi' test either: nicely done...

Alvarez is also impressive, but that's less of a surprise, I guess.
