And please join me in wishing my lesbian friends, Sue Straniero and Gloria Te, great joy as they celebrate their civil union today. Singing at the ceremony will be the well-known spinto Sue del Nilo.

If Sue and Gloria would like to really tie the know, they should come to Massachsetts, where same-sex marriage is legal. That might change next year if the unenlightened voters prevail.
