[Yes, Aida was skipped. And then the passive voice was used. If you are last night's performance of Aida, please feel free to be reported by someone else. I guess the passive voice doesn't really work there.]

How dare Aida be skipped!

Actually, I thought for a second that the Met had skipped it. Like "Should we bother?" "Nah, we got nuthin' new. Let's do one of last week's performances of it and no one'll know the differrence."

I was on the big C. My couch. It is being spent more time upon by me lately than would be believed by you or anyone else. "Must the winter come so soon" (see next entry) is kind of my theme song. I get a little hibernational.
